5. ICMP
The “Premium Certified HDM I” cables are tested to work with high bandwidth as is the c ase
with 4K HDR co ntent. T hese can be more expensive though. When using active and/or optical
cables you should v erify if the integrated receiver and sender are HDMI c ertified to guarantee
to work compliant with the HDM I protocol. You can request the HDMI certificate to the manu-
facturer of the c able.
The ICMP is not supporting Ethernet-over-HDMI and such specific c ables are thus not required.
