Chapter 8 Faults and Alarms
Fault Summaries
PUMP FAULT
Occurs when overload to pump is tripped.
P/S JAM
Occurs when P/S shuttle is instructed to move and P/S encoder input is not alternating state.
D/S JAM
Occurs when P/S shuttle is instructed to move and D/S encoder input is not alternating state.
LOW AIR
This fault occurs when the Low Air Pressure Input is off.
CARRIAGE JAM
This is a Carriage jam. This fault occurs when (Carriage Encoder B) has not changed state for 10 seconds while
the Carriage is being instructed to move.
P/S CYLINDER
Occurs when system could not straighten P/S to start cycle.
D/S CYLINDER
Occurs when system could not straighten D/S to start cycle.
P/S LOAD FAULT
Occurs when the load experienced by the wheel is too large or small for too long of a duration.
D/S LOAD FAULT
Occurs when load experienced by the wheel is too large or small for too long of a duration.
TOP LOAD FAULT
Occurs when load experienced by the wheel is too large or small for too long of a duration.
120VAC FAULT
Occurs when 120vac power is off. Check external breaker and/or GFCI.
ESTOP FAULT
This fault occurs when the E-Stop is pressed or a disconnect is turned off. This fault can be disabled from the
MISC screen of the Operator Interface. Check all E-Stops and red/yellow disconnects to remove condition.
DRIVE COM FAULT
This fault occurs when there is an error communicating with one of the drives.
STUCK IN BAY
This alarm occurs when a vehicle has received a wash and never left the treadle position.
NO ENTRY
This alarm occurs when a vehicle has purchased a wash (Package inserted into the Loader) and never entered
the bay.
TO TREADLE
This alarm occurs when a vehicle has pulled into the bay (Package shifted from Loader to wash) but never pulled
onto the Treadle.
PULL OFF
This alarm occurs when a vehicle left the bay in the middle of a wash cycle.
TIME OUT
This alarm occurs when at least one of the Outputs (NAMED 1 – 8) and (MISC 1 – 8) is on and the status of the
output pattern has not changed for over 10 minutes.
SONAR DISCONNECT
This alarm occurs when the controller is not receiving a signal from the Sonar.
DRIVE FAULTS
These occur when the drive signals controller that it has faulted.
