[E45]
RP [E45] To prevent permanent magnetization of the electromagnetic clutch, which may make the wheel
slow or even stop, Ex has been made more intelligent than the BJ5000 and has the following
improvement.
First of all, the clutch’s magnetic field changes direction after each time the wheel changes direction for
going down. This makes the clutch work equally in both magnetic directions (North / South). Unlike the
BJ5000, BRAKE power immediately replaces the DRAG power when wheel goes out (no zero force gap
time). This allows smoother release of the line, especially with much load.
Secondly, Ex will repeat the change of the magnetic direction if the wheel does not get started. This is
controlled by the interval time RP Wheel start - Time [E45], which is the longest running time between the
wheel magnetic pulses. After each completed Jig length, the direction changes and does not
end until the wheel has rolled out the amount of laps outside the Stop point as determined by the RP
Wheel Start - Laps [E45 P].
Thirdly, if this is not enough, a series with short strong pulses, called RP pulses can be applied.
Following can be adjusted to RP pulses….
Number of pulses [E45 PP]. Which determines how many pulses in the series.
Pulse Legth [E45 PPP]. Pulse length.
Pulse Pause [E45 PPP P]. Pause between pulses in the series.
Pulse Power [E45 PPP PP]. This determines how much power the first pulse in the series should be.
Each series of pulses starts with this power, and gradually decreases to zero.
