10.3 Troubleshooting
Fault Solution
Fabric does not feed well.
> Elongate the stitch length.
> Increase the presser foot pressure for heavyweight fabric.
> Decrease the presser foot pressure for lightweight fabrics.
> Check the setting of the differential feed.
Needle breaks
> Insert the needle correctly.
> Don't pull the fabric while sewing.
> Tighten the needle screw.
> Use a stronger needle for heavyweight fabrics.
Thread breakage
> Loosen the thread tension.
> Check the thread path.
> Check for tangled or caught thread.
> Insert the needle correctly.
> Insert new needles; the inserted needles may be defective.
> Use high-quality thread.
Skipped stitches
> Insert new needles; the inserted needles may be defective.
> Tighten the needle screw.
> Match the needle size with the fabric/thread.
> Insert the needles correctly.
> Change type or size of the needle.
> Check the thread path.
> Increase the presser foot pressure.

Irregular stitches

machine before sewing it with the overlocker.
The fabric is not cut properly
