The clearance between needle and rotaryhookshouldbe-0.10to+0.05mm.
1Removetheneedleplate,bobbinholder,basecover
and bed cover (See page 3 - 4).
Replace the needle with the Test pin

Screw(C) temporarily.
3 Turnthehandwheeltobring the tip of the rotary
hook behind the test pin.
Adjust the clearance between the Test pin and the
Tip of rotaryhook

to - 0.10 to + 0.05 mm

moving the Rotaryhooksetplate

up or down.

5Checktherotaryhookdriver gear and the lower shaft
gear backlash.
If gears mesh or engage tightly or loosely,check
“Adjusting Backlash between Hook DriveGearand
Lower Shaft Gear”. (See page 12 )
6Reattachthebedcover,basecover,baselid,bobbin
holder,needleplateandneedle.
