1Removethefrontcover unit. (See page 6)
2 Turnthepower switch “ON” and press Start / Stop
button twice.
Stop the machine with the needle in the up position.
3(A)Iftheneedlestopshigherthan14.2mm,loosen
Screw

and turntheUppershaftshieldplate
2
in the direction of (A).
(B) If the needle stops lower than 14.2 mm

loosen Screw
1
and turntheUppershaft
shield plate in the direction of (B).
4Placetheright side of the Upper shaft shield plate
2
in the center of the slit of the Upper shaft sensor
and tighten Setcrew
1
.
5PresstheStart/Stop button twice to checktheheight
of the needle stop position, then attach the front cover.

The standardheightofneedlestoppositionshouldbe14.2mmabove the needle plate
surface when the machine is topped.
