7.9 System Start/Stop
To stop operation of the measuring system, proceed as follows:
Turn system off.
The water cooling device has to be used if the detector temperature may rise above 50°C
even though the instrument is not in operation.
In case of sub-zero temperatures, empty the water cooling.
To start operation of the measuring system:
Put water cooling in operation again, if it was disabled.
Turn instrument on.
If instrument has been disabled for more than one month, the error message “Power
failure > 1 month” is displayed.
In this case, check and, if necessary, correct the date and time again in the menu sk1:
General Data.
