Checking the drive chain periodically to

ensure longer chain life. Always keep it

lubricated and clean of deposited dirt.

Take special care in preventing the lubri-

cant from coming into contact with the

rear tyre or brake disc, otherwise the tyre

grip and the action of the brake would be

greatly reduced, making it very difﬁ cult to

control the vehicle.

CHECK AND ADJUST

TIGHTENING CHAIN

Position the drive on a ﬂ at base ensuring

stability.

If the chain play exceeds 30÷35 mm ten-

sion the chain.

• Loosen the pin 1.
