GEARBOX OIL
CHECK THE LEVEL
Hold the vehicle upright.
Position the drive on a fl at base ensuring
stability.
Remove the inspection cap 1.
The oil level must arrive to the lower edge
of check hole.
In contrary case restore the oil level through
cap 2.
Use the oil indicated on page 14 in
the “Recommended lubricants and liquids”
table.
REPLACEMENT
Always perform the replacement when
engine is hot:
- Position the drive on a fl at base ensuring
stability.
- Remove the engine casing by loosening
the screws shown in the fi gure.
- Place a container under the engine.
- Unscrew ller plug 2 and drain plug 3.
- Drain all the oil from the crankcase.
- Apply the cap 3 and tighten up to the
specifi ed torque.
Pour in the quantity of liquid indicated on
page 11.
Use the oil indicated on page 14 in
the “Recommended lubricants and liquids”
table.
