Cancelling the scan and continuing to
listen to a station
Press the OK button B.
Scanning stops and the radio continues
playing the station that it tuned into last.
Adjusting the interference-
dependent treble reduction
(High Cut )
The High Cut function causes a reduction of
the interferences during poor radio recep-
tion. If reception interferences are present,
the interference level is automatically re-
duced.
To adjust High Cut,
press the TUNER button ?.
The "Tuner" menu is displayed.
Press the NEXT button 2.
Press the "High Cut" softkey 9 repeat-
edly until the desired setting appears
on the display.
"High Cut 0" means that no automatic re-
duction of the interference level will be
made; "High Cut 2" means that a maximum
reduction will be made.
Press the OK button B.
Switching mono playback on/off
(FM only)
In case of poor radio reception, switching
from stereo to mono playback can reduce
interferences.
To switch the mono playback on or off,
press the TUNER button ?.
The "Tuner" menu is displayed.
Press the NEXT button 2.

To switch mono on or off,
press the "Mono" softkey ;:
: Mono is switched on.
: Mono is switched off.
To save the setting,
press the OK button B.
Note:
Every time the device is switched off
and on again, mono is automatically
switched off and the playback uses
stereo again.
Switching the display of radio
text on/off
Note:
This function is not available in the tun-
er region "THAILAND".
Some stations use the RDS signal to broad-
cast scrolling texts known as radio texts.
To switch the display of radio text on or off,
press the TUNER button ?.
The "Tuner" menu is displayed.
To switch radio text on or off,
press the "Radio Text" softkey ;:
: Radio text is switched on.
: Radio text is switched off.
To save the setting,
press the OK button B.
