The display briefl y shows "Call Active..."
and then "Handsfree".
Your caller's voice is broadcast via the loud-
speakers.
During the phone call, you can change the
volume by means of the volume control

Note:
During the Bluetooth phone call, no
traffi c or navigation announcements
are switched through.
Making a call (DIAL NEW )
There are several ways of making a phone
call via the car sound system:
Entering a phone number and calling or
storing under a softkey (see this sec-
tion).
Calling a phone number stored under a
softkey (see the section "Speed dial").
Selecting a phone number stored in
the phone book of the device (see the
section "Storing and calling a phone
number in the phone book of the de-
vice").
Calling a phone number stored in the
phone book of the connected cell
phone (also via voice dialing, see the
section "The phone book of the cell
phone").
Selecting a phone number from the his-
tory (see the section "Calling a phone
number from the history").
The options listed here are also avail-
able via the speed dial menu (see the
section "Speed dial").

To enter a phone number and make a call or
to save it,
open the Bluetooth menu.
Press the NEXT button 2.
Press the "Dial Number" softkey ;.
The display shows 20 spaces for the phone
number entry.
To enter a phone number:
Use the
or button @ to select the
desired number for the current posi-
tion.
Change to a different position by press-
ing the
or button >.
To call the phone number entered,
press the OK button B
.
The display shows "Calling..." and the di-
aled phone number or its entry in the phone
book.
To save the phone number entered under a
softkey,
press the desired softkey 6 to ; for
longer than 2 seconds.
The display briefl y shows "NUMBER SAVED"
and you are returned to the menu.
Notes:
You can save up to 6 phone numbers
under the 6 softkeys.
If you save a number under a softkey
that already features a saved number,
the existing number is automatically
replaced.
If you did not enter a number, the dis-
play briefl y shows "NO NUMBER TO
SAVE" after pressing the softkey and
you are automatically returned to the
menu.
