If you press the > or button @ once,
the player will play the current track again
from the beginning.
Fast searching (audible)
To fast search backwards or forwards,
press and hold down one of the buttons
/ > or / @.
Random track play (MIX)
Press the "MIX" softkey 6.
"MIX ALL" briefl y appears on the display,
info line 2 H permanently displays "Mix
All". The next randomly selected track will
then be played.
Cancelling MIX
Press the "MIX" softkey 6 again.
"MIX OFF" briefl y appears on the display,
info line 2 H no longer displays "Mix All".
Scanning tracks ( Scan)
You can scan (briefl y play) all the tracks on
the CD.
Press the OK button B for longer than
2 seconds.
The next track will then be scanned. The
display shows "SCAN".
Note:
You can set the scan time. For further
information, please read the section en-
titled "Setting the scanning time (Scan
Time)" in the "Radio mode" chapter.

Cancelling Scan and continuing listening
to a track
To end the scanning process,
press the OK button B.
The currently scanned track will then con-
tinue to be played normally.
Repeating tracks (RPT)
If you want to repeat a track,
press the "RPT" softkey 7.
"REPEAT TRACK" briefl y appears on the
display, info line 2 H permanently displays
"Rpt Trk". The track is repeated continuous-
ly until you deactivate Repeat.
Cancelling Repeat
Press the "RPT" softkey 7 again.
"REPEAT OFF" briefl y appears on the dis-
play, info line 2 H no longer displays "Rpt
Trk". Normal playback is then resumed.
Displaying CD text
Some CDs include CD text. The CD text
might contain the names of the artist and
the album.
The CD text is displayed as scrolling text.
Switching CD text on/off (TXT, SCL)
Press the "TXT" softkey ;.
If CD text is switched on or off, the display
briefl y shows "CD Text On" or "CD Text Off".
If the CD provides CD text and CD text is
switched on, the CD text is displayed in info
line 3 J.
Note:
If the CD text is too long to be complete-
ly displayed, you can use the "SCL"
softkey : to display the CD text as
scrolling text.
