Press the softkey for the loudspeak-
ers for which you want to perform the
equalizer settings.
Notes:
In crossover mode, the selection be-
tween front and rear loudspeakers
and the centre speaker is not avail-
able.
For the "Manual L=R" setting, you per-
form the equalizer settings together
for the entire loudspeaker system as
described below.
For the "Manual L#R" setting, you can
perform the equalizer settings sepa-
rately for the left and right channel. To
do so, press the softkey "Left" 6 or
"Right" ;.
In the displayed menu, the fi rst 5 bands
of the equalizer are available. Pressing the
"Next" softkey ; calls up the follow-up
menu for selecting the 6th and 7th band.
From there, you can return by pressing the
"Previous" softkey ;.
Note:
For the setting of the centre speaker
("Center"), only 5 bands are available.
Press the softkey of the desired band.
For every band, you can perform the follow-
ing settings individually:
"Frequency" 6: Select a frequency
between 20 Hz and 20,000 Hz for the
band.
"Gain" 7: Adjust the level for the band
between –10 dB and +10 dB.
"Q Factor" 8: Adjust the quality factor
for the band between 0.1 and 10.
Press the softkey of the desired set-
ting.

Adjust the desired value by pressing
the
> or button @ (down) or
> or
@ (up).
When you have fi nished making your
changes,
press the OK button B repeatedly un-
til you reach the desired menu level for
additional settings or completely exit
the menu.
Switching the equalizer on/off
To switch an equalizer on or switch all equal-
izers off,
press the MENU button A.
Press the softkey "Audio Settings" 6.
Press the "DSA" softkey 9.
The display shows the DSA menu.
Press the "User equalizer" softkey 6.
To switch one of the 3 equalizers on,
press the softkey for the desired equal-
izer (Equalizer 1 – 3).
OR:
Press the "Equalizer Off" softkey ; to
switch the equalizers off (neither of the
3 equalizers is switched on).
Resetting the equalizer
All automatically determined values of the
selected equalizer can be reset.
To reset an equalizer,
press the MENU button A.
Press the softkey "Audio Settings" 6.
Press the "DSA" softkey 9.
The display shows the DSA menu.
Press the "User equalizer" softkey 6.
Press the softkey for the equalizer
(Equalizer 1 – 3) to be reset.
