COWL VALVE OPEN - Engine Anti Ice
1 Choose one:
COWL VALVE
OPEN
ENGINE COWL VALVE OPEN
Condition:
An engine COWL VALVE OPEN light stays
illuminated bright blue if the cowl anti-ice
valve is not in the commanded position.
ENG ANTI-ICE switch is ON:
The cowl anti-ice valve is failed closed.
Avoid icing conditions.

ENG ANTI-ICE switch is OFF:
The cowl anti-ice valve is failed open.
If TAT is above 10°C, limit thrust on the
affected engine to 80% if possible.
