A total of 22 permanent membrane keys (B) on the right-hand, upper and lower edges of the
operating panel and variably located virtual keys within the touch display area enable
convenient operation and message processing.
All incoming messages and events are saved internally and can be viewed on the display at any
time. A log printer for printing incoming messages can be connected.
There is a key switch (D) underneath the left status LEDs that has two programmable switch
positions, e.g.:
– for switching between day/night mode, or
– for switching local alarm on/off (internal/external alarm)
Alarm indication
11 LEDs (C) provide ongoing information about the operational status of the panel or system.
Additional LED display modules each with 16 red and yellow LEDs can be used for visual
status display (e.g. alarm or fault indication).
Configuration
On the rear of the panel controller, there are three rotary switches for addressing in a panel
network and six DIP switches for configuration settings.
The FSP-5000-RPS Programming Software facilitates easy adaptation to country-specific
circumstances.
Interfaces
Up to 32 panel controllers and/or remote operating panels can be combined as required to
form a network using the integral CAN interfaces.

Two signal inputs (IN1/IN2) and three additional connections (Ethernet, USB, RS232) are also
available.
