3.6 System limiting values
For installation reasons, only 42 modules can be programmed when configuring a redundant
control panel. It is possible to have 46 modules per panel without redundancy if 1 housing
with the panel controller and 10 modules plus three housings with 12 modules each are
installed.
With redundancy, the redundant panel controller is installed in the fourth housing. In addition,
because the short panel rail (with two module slots) cannot be used, the fourth housing only
provides eight module slots (see also Section 3.11 Redundancy).
