Risk of damage to the IndraControl VPB 40.4 by
mounting non-released modules and USB
devices!
● Install only released modules and USB devices.
● Modules and USB devices may only be installed by authorized personnel.
The steps 1 - 4 are omitted if the control cabinet PC is not yet
mounted into the control cabinet.
1. Switch off the supply voltage.
2. If operated with a UPS, wait until the control cabinet PC switches off
automatically. The UPS LED on the connector panel of the control cabinet
PC is red until the UPS switches off the power supply unit.
3. Remove all plugs from the control cabinet PC.
4. Loosen the fastening screws of the control cabinet PC and remove the
control cabinet PC from the mounting panel.
5. Position the control cabinet on a plane support and ensure that the right
housing cover points up.
6. 2-slot variants: Loosen the undetachable fastening screw (cross recess) of
the housing cover (refer to ② in the following figure).
4-slot variants: Remove the fastening screws of the housing cover (refer to
② in the following figure).
