11 Commissioning
11.1 Commissioning steps
The product can be used directly without any configuration.
To commission the device, proceed as follows:
1. Mount the industrial PC.
For details, refer to chapter 10 "Mounting, demounting and electric
installation" on page 20.
2. Connect the power supply to the X10 connection of the industrial PC.
See also chapter 10.3 "Electric connection" on page 33.
3. Switch on industrial PC starting the initial firmware.
Refer to chapter 12.7.1 "Starting and opening the initial firmware" on page
49.
4. Use the commissioning tool "IndraControl First Touch" to make the network
settings (IP address, subnet mask, gateway address) for the "XETH2"
connection.
Refer to chapter 12.8.2 "Network settings" on page 50.
5. Connect the project planning PC to the control via XETH2.
