Risk of damage!
If you carry your e-bike outside your
car, e.g. on a car rack, moisture can
penetrate system components even
at low speeds.
» Remove the battery from the e-bike.
» Protect all e-bike components
such as the control unit, display
unit, drive, open plugs, etc. from
moisture penetration. You can
obtain appropriate protectors from
specialist dealers.
INFORMATION
Undamaged batteries can be
transported on the road by private
users without further requirements.
29 Maintenance
∙ Carry out a visual inspection regularly
to ensure that the electrical cables,
connections and contacts are
undamaged and clean.
∙ Have your Brose Drive System
technically checked at least once a
year to ensure that all components
are present and in working order
(including mechanics, system
software up-to-dateness).
For service or repairs to the Brose Drive
System or in the event of a component
failure (e.g. battery or charger), contact
an authorised Brose specialist dealer.
