27 Error displays
The control unit and the display unit
show error messages of the entire Brose
Drive System.
∙ If the control unit is operated without
the display unit, the display is
implemented via the LED band of the
control unit:

∙ In case of operation of the control
unit with the display unit, the display
is implemented exclusively via the
display unit:

Depending on the type of fault, the
drive may be switched off automatically.
Continuing to cycle without support from
the drive is possible at any time.
The error display can indicate serious
faults in your Brose Drive System.
∙ Stop cycling. Find out the meaning
of the error display and follow the
solution approach.
∙ If the meaning of the notice is unclear,
switch off the e-bike and contact the
e-bike manufacturer or an authorised
Brose specialist dealer for information
on the next steps.
