ME CH ANICAL DESCRIPTIONS
[I] Needle bar, thread take-up, lower shaft and ro tary h ook mechanism
1) When the machine pulley 0 rotates in the direct ion of the arrow, the motion is transmitted to the
thread take-up crank@ t hrough the upper shaft@.
2) The motion is then transmitted to the thread take- up lever €) throu gh the needle bar crank e attached
to the thread take-up crank@.
The needle bar f) connected with the needle bar crank@ makes vertical movement.
3) When the machine pulley 0 rotates in the direction of the arrow, the motion is tran smitted via the
eccentric part of the upper shaft@. Then, the cra nk rod@ makes vertical movement.
4) Th e rock gea r@ attached to the crank rod@ osci llate s.
5) The oscillation of the gear @ is transmitted to the lower shaft ID through the lower shaft gear ®. Then
the driv er@ and inner rotary hook (LB) ® ofthe rotaty hook mechanism also osc illate.
