Error code 44
The new toner sensor detected that the toner cartridge was not set.
Error code 45 to 4F
These errors do not usually occur in the normal use. The conceivable causes are noise
around the installation site, fluctuation of the power supply voltage, and failures in the
software.
An unidentified error occurred.
Error code 50
The number of rotations of the drum unit has reached the life limit. (Printing does not stop.)
No Toner
Open the Front Cover, then install the Toner Cartridge.

• Install the toner cartridge.
Step Cause Remedy

Connection failure of the new
toner sensor harness
Reconnect the new toner sensor harness.

New toner sensor failure Check the sensor performance following the
procedure in "Function code 32". If any
problem occurs, replace the new toner sensor
PCB ASSY.
3 Main PCB failure Replace the main PCB ASSY.

• Turn OFF the power switch, and turn it ON again after a while.
