(4) Release the five hooks marked with on the head cover to remove it.
Note: When removing the head cover, do not touch the inclination adjuster ring.
(5) Unlock the connector on the carriage PCB ASSY and disconnect the head flat cable.
Note: After disconnecting the head flat cable, check that it is not damaged at its end or short-
circuited. When connecting the head flat cable, do not insert it at an angle. After insertion,
check again that it is not at an angle and then lock the connector.
