Operating Modes of the Magnet System:
Driven Mode
In the driven mode the current lead is mounted and the current is led through the power
supply. The coils of the magnet can be energized and deenergized.
Persistent Mode
In the persistent mode the current flows exclusively within the magnet. The circuit has no
connection to the outside. The magnetic field cannot be switched off.
