6.2 Throw sifters
6.2.1 Changing sieves for DFTA 12 and DFTA 13
Procedure:
1. Turn the 4 clamping levers (1) 180° upwards. This causes the clamping bars to
release the sieves on both sides and over the entire frame length.
2. Pull out the sieves (2).
Danger!
The sieves may only be changed with the machine at a standstill.
The lockable safety switch, which interrupts the power at all poles, must be
set to “0” and locked.
Caution!
Operating the machine with just loosely inserted sieves that are not clamped
results in excessive vibrations.
Operation in this state will cause much damage in a short time!
Note:
To install sieves, follow the sieve removal steps in the reverse order. Before the
machine is started up again, make sure that the clamping levers (1) are in the
“clamped” position to ensure that the sieves are secured tightly.
