6.3 Faults and troubleshooting
The limit switch (for DFTA 13, DFTA 23 models only) serves to switch off the
machine in the event of irregular vibrations (lateral vibrations). This helps to prevent
damage to the sieve.
Note:
The distance between the limit switch and the side wall is x = 2 mm.

Fault Cause Remedy
Machine does not start Vibrator motor is not supplied with
current
Verify power supply
The safety switch is set to “OFF” Set the safety switch to “ON”
Vibrator motor overheated Allow vibrator motor to cool off and
determine the cause of overheating
Machine is switched off
via limit switch
Defective vibrator motor Replace vibrator motor
Centrifugal weights of vibrator
motors are configured differently
Configure centrifugal weights
correctly (see Chap. 5.3.2,
25)
One vibrator motor turns in the
wrong direction
Change rotation direction of vibrator
motor
