6.2.2 Changing sieves for DFTA 23
Due to the large sieve area, two sieve frames per sieve deck are installed, one
behind the other.
Procedure:
1. Turn the 4 clamping levers (1) 180° upwards. This causes the clamping bars to
release the sieves on both sides and over the entire frame length.
2. Pull out the sieves (2).
Use the hook (3) to pull out the rear sieves.
Note:
To install sieves, follow the sieve removal steps in the reverse order. Before the
machine is started up again, make sure that the clamping levers (1) are in the
“clamped” position to ensure that the sieves are secured tightly.
