Procedure:
1. Remove the angles (6) on the sides (DFTA 23 only).
2. Turn back the tension screw (7) by approx. 3 cm.
3. Remove the front (3) and rear clamping angles (4) and take off the old wire
cloth.
4. Fit the new wire cloth.
5. For assembly, follow the steps in the reverse order. For the screws (9) and (12) it
is required to open the sieve mesh with a punch.
6. After the clamping angles (3), (4) and (5) have been installed, the wire sieve can
be tightened using the tension screws (7).
The tension screws (7) must then be locked.
Install the angles (6) on the sides (DFTA 23 only).
Caution!
Do not overtighten the wire sieve. If the tension is too great, the sieve frame will
become deflected. This impairs the self-cleaning effect. To ensure that the sieve
frame is not jammed in the sieve box, the wire sieve cloth must not protrude in
width over the longitudinal edge of the sieve frame.
