Endotracheal Tube Placement
IMPORTANT: The following instructions provide adequate endotracheal tube placement. The
endotracheal tube placement described here has no correlation to real life patient care. To protect
the manikin’s airway, endotracheal tubes should be inserted through the tracheostomy site.
To place an endotracheal tube:
1. Wrap the inflatable cuff tubing around the endotracheal tube. Then, insert the end fitting
into the endotracheal tube.

2. Lubricate the endotracheal tube with silicone spray.
