Intramuscular (IM) Subcutaneous (SQ) Injection
Juno supports IM/SQ injection at six sites:
Bilateral Deltoid
Bilateral Vastus Lateralis
•Ventrogluteal
•Dorsogluteal
To administer an IM/SQ injection:
1. Insert an IM/SQ injection pad.
2. Deliver the IM/SQ injection per protocol.
The IM/SQ Injection Site
Intraosseous (IO) Cannulation
Juno also allows for humeral intraosseous (IO) cannulation. The designated IO site is located on
Juno’sleft shoulder and left leg.
Note: Replace either of the IM pads with an IO access puck prior to performing IO cannulation.
