Note: Stoma may be positioned at any of the three sites. A plug should be placed in any unused sites.
3 Ostomy Sites
To practice ostomy care and irrigation:
1. Find the site needed for the simulation and remove the plug.
2. Place a stoma insert into the colostomy site and prepare it for the simulation.
Stoma Insert
Fluid from irrigation is collected in the internal abdominal reservoir. Only irrigate the
stomas with a maximum of 200 ml of fluid.
