Side splice access
The side splice compartment contains subscriber cable entry holes, an AC cable entry hole,
and two peg boards for mounting all splice equipment and fiber distribution options.
Cable entry plates
Cable entry plates come in various configurations.
The AC entry plate has one 1 1/2" feed (2" with knockout removed).
Field-configurable subscriber cable entry plates have two 2" or one 4" feeds
(for copper or fiber).
The ground plate has 4 field-configurable knockouts
(two 3/4", one 1", one 1 1/2").
Integrated cross-connect panel
Cabinets ordered with the integrated cross-connect option will have a hinged panel in the
splice compartment that holds the connection blocks.
Features of the integrated cross-connect include:
2:1 configuration. (2 subscriber pairs for each equipment pair)
Marconi URLS 10 pair connection blocks
a hinged connection block panel to provide access to the cable entry and fiber
splice area
integrated test cable
jumper wire spool
room for one fiber splice tray holder supporting 120 fiber splices when cross-
connect panel is installed
