Procedure to splice the fiber cables
Procedure to route fiber jumpers to the fiber distribution cassette
Procedure to terminate the fiber cables
Step Action
1.
Pull the loose fiber cable from the splice compartment to your fiber splicing
equipment.
2.
Splice fibers from the cable to fiber jumpers following the instructions for
your splice equipment.
3.
Place the spliced fiber in a fiber splice tray, routing
the fiber as shown.
4.
Place the fiber splice tray into the fiber splice tray holder and secure the tray
with the supplied velcro strap.
Step Action
1.
Remove a fiber distribution cassette from the holder.
2.
Route fiber jumpers through the back of the holder.
3.
Route each fiber jumper from the back of the fiber
distribution cassette to the front connectors as
shown.
4.
Insert the fiber distribution cassette into the holder.
