Step Action
1.
Install the splice tray holder(s) and splice trays. See the splice tray holder
procedure.
2.
Terminate the outside plant fibers to the fiber splice trays.
3.
Install the fiber distribution cassette holder(s). See the fiber distribution
cassette holder procedure.
4.
When optical plug-in cards are installed, terminate the fibers using jumpers
from the front of the plug-in cards onto the fiber distribution cassette(s). You
can also terminate fibers using pigtails from the front of the plug-in cards to
the fiber splice tray(s).
5.
If desired, run fiber pigtails from the fiber distribution cassette(s) to the
corresponding fiber splice tray.
6.
Use velcro around the splice tray ends to simplify cable management.
