Rear access
The rear copper protection and fiber compartment houses the copper protection panel.
The rear compartment also contains the DC distribution panel.
Copper protection panels
The rear panel holds five copper protection blocks. Each block corresponds to two slots
on one of the Calix C7 shelves.
The panel is hinged to support easy maintenance and to provide access to the back of the
Calix C7 shelf.
Each protection block provides protection for two copper plug-in cards. Protection blocks
terminate with MS2 connectors for interface in the splice compartment.
