Prepare the cabinet for placement
Procedure to prepare the cabinet for permanent placement
Step Action
1.
In the splice compartment, remove the AC, ground, and subscriber cable
entry blank plates.
2.
Pop out the AC conduit tray under the AC access
blank plate. If you are using AC conduit between 1"
and 2", use channel locks to remove the extra
conduit knockout on the tray.
3.
Close and latch the front, rear, and splice compartment doors. See the door
close procedure.
4.
Ensure the bolts for all lifting details are securely fastened.
5.
Sweep the pad.
6.
Suspend the cabinet approximately 2 feet (61 cm) above the pad.
SAFETY: Minimum working load of each lifting strap must be 1000 lbs.
(454 kg).
7.
Recycle the pallet.
