9.5 Other settings
As with the setup on the data display itself, changes can also be made to the settings of the data
display in the DSS. If changes are made here, they must always be transferred to the data display
with the write to display button at the bottom left.
9.5.1 General settings
Under General settings, the dwell time of the start screen can be set by menu item Start screen. Here
a duration of 0-5 seconds is adjustable.

Furthermore, the popups and the dwell time of the popups can be defined under Popup and Popup
Time. Further menu items are backlight (Backgrounds light), the sensitivity of the dimming (Dim
sensitivity), the orientation of the display.
9.5.2 Can Bus
As in the menu on the data display itself, you can de-/activate the can scheduling in this submenu in
the DSS, set the can speed, de-/activate the OBD2 29-bit extension and set a timeout for the next
data query (timeout).

9.5.3 Shift light
This is analogous to the configuration of the shift light menu on the data display. You can adjust the
speeds and colors of the shift light to the corresponding speeds. Under the menu item brightness you
can set the brightness and under direction the direction of the shiftlight.
9.5.4 Gears
In the submenu Gears you can also specify the gear ratio for gear calculation.
