Problems with the printing quality
The surface of the paper is dirty
Cause Corrective Action
The Paper Retainer is soiled. Clean the Paper Retainer .

Y ou are using a paper that does not dry easily . Specify a time of about a minute in Roll DryingT ime .
The back side of the paper is dirty
Cause Corrective Action
The Platen has become dirty after borderless printing
or printing on small paper .
Open the T op Cover and clean the Platen .

Roller marks are left across the trailing edge of paper
Cause Corrective Action
Following the instructions, press the Load/Eject
button, remove the paper , and then press the OK
button.
A document was removed after printing from
the Front Paper Feed Slot without pressing the
Load/Eject button.
Wipe away any soiling on the rollers.
