Quick Start Basics
. To turn on the camera
Open the camera.
This will automatically turn on the
camera (indicated by the operation lamp
lighting green) and enter the REC mode.
IMPORTANT!
• The camera will not start up if you
open it while it is being charged by a
computer. A USB connection will be
established between computer and
camera (page 18).
. To enter the REC mode and PLAY mode
. To turn off the camera
Close the camera.
NOTE
• To conserve battery power, an Auto
Power Off function will turn off power
automatically if you do not perform
any operation for about five minutes.
