Note: When setting the Real Time Clock in the following steps, other menu options will be displayed.
These functions will be more obvious once the basic controls are familiar to the user.

year
iv. When you have finished, use PB2 or PB4 to highlight ‘EXIT’ and press PB3 to select it
6. Check for Controller ‘power up’ and correct receiver/decoder response: The controller and
receiver/decoder must have identical frequencies and address codes. This information is normally found
on the controller model ID tag in the battery compartment, and the receiver/decoder ID tag which is
located on the side of the electronic chassis (Gold Box). These tags also identify the model and serial
number of the equipment.
Note: Specific information regarding the controller can be found in the separate controller manual
supplied with the system.
a. Remove the lid from the Gold Box. With the receiver/decoder power still on, set the remote
controller power to ‘ON’.
Note: Certain US and Canadian licensed and UK non-licensed controllers will transmit data to
the receiver/decoder continuously until controller power is turned ‘OFF’ by the operator or
it is timed out.
US and Canadian non-licensed controllers transmit only while a function button is
activated. To comply with rules and regulations for the US and Canada, the transmitter in
these controllers turns ‘OFF’ five seconds after release of a function button.
