Appendix I – R2HN Receiver
Introduction
The optional Model R2HN receiver contains several advanced functions that can be used to enhance the
functionality of all Cattron MP96/48 series Portable Remote Control (PRC) systems. These functions are:
• Close Start
• Range Limit
• Range Extend
• Scanner (optional) – may require ‘Gold Box’ modifications, contact Cattron at www.cattron.com/contact
• Attenuator
• Field Programmable Frequency Selection
Close Start, Range Limit and Range Extend require the use of a Triple Diversity Antenna system. When installing
a triple diversity antenna system, we recommend that you physically tag each antenna and its associated line kit
with a number (1, 2 and 3) and permanently record its individual location on the controlled machine. Such
identification will be required when setting up the advanced functions described on the following pages.
The Model R2HN receiver can be easily identified by its LCD display and two display control pushbuttons, shown
in Figure 26.
