5.7 Data Collection and Review Options
5.7.1 Standard Datalog Feature
Through the use of the Datalog and the optional Microsoft Windows
®
compatible PC based Datalog Analysis
and Utility Program (Part Number CPA-0326), historical data can be sorted, selectively viewed, and printed or
saved to a database file. A hard copy or disk data file of specific events, conditions and parameters can be
produced to aid in accident analysis, maintenance and operator training evaluations. Installation and operation of
the program is described later in this section. Downloading and printing of this information is enabled by way of
optional interface ports located on the decoder board and accessed from the underside of the Gold Box. Figure
17 identifies these optional interface connections.

5.7.2 Portable Data Download Controller Talkback (PDDCTB) Unit
An option is available which enables the Datalog to be remotely downloaded to a Laptop PC directly from the
controller. This is accomplished using the following:
An additional RF link between the MP96 receiver/decoder and the controller
A customized controller incorporating a PDDCTB unit and TALKBACK
®
The PC-based Datalog Analysis and Utility Program (Part Number CPA-0326)
