HARDWARE DESCRIPTION
The unit status LEDs communicate system operational status. They are located to the left of the
1000BASE-X ports, as seen in the following graphic.

LED State Indication
POWER Solid Green
Blinking
Turns on when power is applied and remains on
until the system is powered off or the reset
button is pressed.
System is shutting down because the reset
button was pressed.
STATUS Solid Green
Blinking Green
Indicates status normal/system ready or a non-
fatal error if the ALRM LED is also solid.
System is initializing and performing self tests.
ALARM Off
Solid Yellow
Blinking Yellow
Normal operating conditions.
A non-fatal error has been detected or the reset
button has been pushed and released.
During bootup, if an error is detected by the
bootloader, the alarm LED will blink to indicate
the error code and the system will halt.
During normal operation, this indicates that the
reset button was pressed.
