Chapter 2 Installing the Access Point
Removing the Access Point From the Mounting Plate
To remove the access point from the mounting plate when the mounting plate is not attached to a surface,
follow these instructions:
Step 1 Flip the access point so that the mounting plate is on top.
Step 2 Verify the location of the mounting plate latch (see Figure 2-19).
Step 3 Grasp the access point with both hands as shown in Figure 2-23.

With your right forefinger, pull the mounting plate latch toward you to release it from the mounting plate.
Step 5 Maintain pressure on the mounting plate latch, use your left thumb or forefinger to push the mounting
plate to the right and slide it off the access point foot pins.
Step 6 Remove the mounting plate from the access point.
