WARNING
If a Cisco device is fitted with an XCO-type fiber-optic
module, it is a Class 1 laser product. It makes use of fiber-optic
technology, including laser-emitting components.
Do not look directly at the input/output end of any XCO / SFP
connector, or at the input/output end of any fiber-optic cable.
Fiber-optic systems frequently use high-intensity laser light that
may cause temporary or permanent blindness.
For additional guidance regarding the safe use of laser-based
and LED-based fiber-optic technology, refer to ANSI Z136.2
(Safe Use of Optical Fiber Communication Systems Utilizing
Laser Diode and LED Sources).
