• An over temperature condition has occurred. (A major temperature threshold has exceeded
during an environmental monitoring.)
• The module is resetting.
• The ejector lever is open.
Blinking Red
The module is not receiving power.Off
All environmental sensors in the system are within operational bounds.
GreenSystem
At least one power supply has failed or the power supply fan has failed.Amber
The temperature of the supervisor module exceeded the major threshold.Red
The supervisor is operational and in a HA active state.
GreenActive
The supervisor module is in a HA standby state.Amber
There is sufficient power available for all installed modules.
GreenPower Management
There is insufficient power for all installed modules.Amber
The mgmt0 interface is administratively active when the supervisor is in the HA-active state.
GreenMGMT0 Ethernet
From Cisco MDS NX-OS Release 8.4(2), when the supervisor is in HA-standby state, the mgmt0
interface is not administratively active.
On Cisco MDS NX-OS Release 8.4(1a) or earlier, when the supervisor is in the HA-standby state,
the mgmt0 interface is not administratively active.
Amber
The mgmt0 interface is uninitialized. No signal is detected.Off
Frames are being transmitted or received by the interface.
GreenACT
There is no activity on the interface.Off
The management port link is operational.
GreenLink
The management port link has been disabled by software.Amber
The management port has been disabled by a hardware fault.Blinking amber
No link signal received.Off
