Site Preparation Checklist
Planning the location and layout of your equipment is essential for successful system operation,
ventilation, and accessibility.
Table C-1 lists the site planning tasks that we recommend completing
before installing the Cisco UCS 6100 Series Fabric Interconnect.
Consider heat dissipation when sizing the air-conditioning requirements for an installation. See
Table A-5 on page A-3 for the environmental requirements, and the “Power Specifications” section on
page A-2 for power and heat ratings.
