87 Tempest®2400 2-Channel Wireless Intercom System
Time Domain Mulple Access (TDMA): Radio technology that takes advantage of the relavely slow speed of sound and
much faster speed of RF, to create the illusion of mulple simultaneous transmissions.
Tempest BaseStaon: The control staon for a group of Tempest Wireless Intercom BeltStaons with the ability to interface
with most commonly used wired intercom systems.
Tempest BeltStaon: An intercom user staon, designed to be worn on the users belt in conjuncon with a headset that
provides a dedicated communicaon link and freedom of movement.
Tempest Remote Transceiver: An accessory used with the Tempest BaseStaon to locate the antennas apart from the
BaseStaon without RF signal loss or aenuaon.
ZSync: ZSync technology provides a more sophiscated form of BaseStaon synchronizaon over the older Accu-Sync
technology. To ulize ZSync technology either a Zero Sync Dongle or a Parallel Zero Sync Generator is necessary to act as
the source of the ZSync signal.
