When to clean and disinfect the meter
• Clean and disinfect the meter to remove
visible dirt or other material on a regular
basis.
• Clean and disinfect the meter always when
there is blood on it.
• Clean and disinfect the meter before
allowing anyone else to handle the meter,
for instance, if you have someone assisting
you. Do not allow anyone else to use the
lancing device.
