Errors and unusual behavior without error messages
Display/symptom Possible solution
Meter does not power on (either when
pressing the Enter button or when inserting
a test strip), display remains dark
Insert new batteries. Always replace all 4
batteries at the same time. Check if the
contacts are intact.
Meter displays an unexpected result Refer to the package insert for the test
strips.
Meter does not make sounds Check the settings for Beeper Volume
(page96) and Button Click (page 98)
Test strip cannot be inserted Clean and disinfect the meter as indicated
on page101.
If the problem persists, contact Roche Diagnostics (see page138).
